Baseball 2026 - Spring 2026
FYS Recreational baseball program for Kindergarten-8th grade.
Ferndale Youth Sports spring recreation baseball is for all skill levels and there will not be tryouts for these teams. The mission of FYS is to allow for as many athletes in Ferndale to play, this means we may have multiple teams of the same grade level. As long as we have athletes, coaches, and facilities available, we will make a team work.
Practices will be 2x a week. Teams will be formed with players in the same schools - depending on availability and coaches.
Buddy and coach requests are not guaranteed.
Games will be played through the North County League and can include traveling to Mt. Baker, Nooksack, Meridian, Blaine or Lynden. Teams will play 2 games per week, 1 on a weeknight and the other on Saturday.
Season runs from March-April.
FYS serves children that attend or live in the Ferndale School District.

Softball 2026 - Spring 2026
FYS Recreational Girls Softball program 8U-14U
8U (1st/2nd) This is pitching machine League
10U(3rd/4th) This is a kid-pitch league. Beginning pitching.
12U(5th & 6th) This is a kid-pitch league (40' pitching distance, 60' bases).
14U (7th & 8th) This is a Kid-Pitch league (40' pitching distance, 60' bases).
Practices will be 2x a week.Teams will be formed with players in the same schools - depending on availability.
